New Blockchain Policy in Hainan: Support Leading Enterprises to Explore the Construction of Digital Asset Trading Platform

On May 25, the Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice, in order to accelerate the development of blockchain technology and industrial innovation, ten trial measures with a three-year trial period were formulated.

The ten policy measures are:
Build a blockchain joint innovation platform;
Set up a blockchain industry fund;
Support the construction of blockchain infrastructure, enterprises registered in Hainan to build blockchain public service platforms, computing power public service systems, public chain platforms with independent intellectual property rights, enterprise-level alliance chain platforms and other blockchain infrastructure;
Promote tourism consumption blockchain points;
Promote the reform of e-government projects;
Encourage research and development of core blockchain technology;
Implementation of the blockchain application demonstration project;
Host a world blockchain conference;
Explore the blockchain + financial sandbox supervision mechanism;
And build a blockchain industry cluster.
