Many banks announce blockchain patents, China’s digital currency implementation is approaching

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China recently announced a number of blockchain-related patents, including “blockchain consensus system and method”, “blockchain-based document editing method, device and system”, and “blockchain-based terminal upgrade protection system and method” “Blockchain-based distributed database storage method and system” etc. The above-mentioned patent application dates are all in April 2020, and the publication date is July or August 2020. At the same time, Bank of China Co., Ltd. also recently announced “a method and device for information management based on blockchain”, “a method, device and system for processing donated materials based on blockchain”, and “a method and device based on blockchain”. A number of blockchain-related patents such as the personal information management method and device “a cross-border payment method and device based on blockchain”, and the application date is April 2020.

Various signs indicate that under the wave of new infrastructure construction, China’s blockchain industry is accelerating in an all-round way. From central bank digital currency to industrial blockchain applications, blockchain technology is gradually integrating into people’s daily lives.
