China’s first local blockchain security standard is expected to be unveiled in Shanghai

According to the Shanghai Securities News, in order to strengthen the guidance and regulation of blockchain technology and promote the safe and orderly development of blockchain technology applications, the Shanghai local standard “General Specification for Blockchain Technology Security (Draft for Comment)” has now been formed. In accordance with the requirements of the procedures for the formulation and revision of local standards in Shanghai, the Shanghai Information Security Evaluation and Certification Center recently solicited public opinions on the “Specifications”.This means that China’s first local blockchain security standard will be unveiled in Shanghai. At the same time, national blockchain technology standards are also in the process of being formulated.

Ma Xiaofeng, director of the Shanghai Blockchain Technology Research Center, said that blockchain technology is known for its safety and credibility, and its own security protection mechanisms and methods are very important. Many blockchain technologies often correspond to corresponding digital assets. From the perspective of the development of blockchain technology, the development of the entire industry has passed the initial stage, and the basic standards need to be clarified to improve the overall development level of the industry.
